6TH MATH

- Did journal page 194 as a class. Do you know the geometry rules! Most of you look like you do...:)
- Spent some time working on our projects (DUE TOMORROW!)
- HW-Journal pages 195-197 (many of you finished this in class)

SCIENCE/ENGAGE
- Started "earthquakes" today
- Read pages 44-48.
- HW=First page of handout (front and back only....don't do page two)
- Also...Make corrections to National Park business letter and bring in polished copy tomorrow so we can mail out on Friday, and hopefully get back some goodies after break!:)

- Played game: "frac tac toe" for practice converting fractions to decimals. Good game!
- Journal page 145 done in class together

6TH MATH
- Went over constructing congruent angles...fun!!
- Worked on two worksheets today for practice (and one from yesterday)
- You will be turning in these three worksheets tomorrow (finish for HW if not already done...and you have a compass at home)

- Worked on "Inside the Earth" diagram--finish for HW if not done
- Read Section 3 "Continental Drift" pgs. 18-22 and answer questions 1-2b. Complete sentences! Capitalization! End punctuation! Cursive. Just like you have been doing!! It's getting much better!!!!!!!!!! :)

- Finished math test today
- Passed back journals for grade
- DISCUSSED DETROIT ARCHITECTURE PROJECT-- Parent initials for 2 pts. PROJECT DUE DECEMBER 15TH.

- Mad Minute Math (division)
- Journal page 121-122 done in class....by some kids. If it's too difficult...then wait and we will cover it again tomorrow. WE ARE COVERING LESSON 5.1 AGAIN TOMORROW.
